First off, I’d like to apologize for neglecting my blog recently. Life has been crazy and hectic and I haven’t had the motivation to blog, but I will save that for another day. Today, I’d like you to meet my solidarity sister Annie.
If you’ve never heard of Susannah’s Solidarity Sister program, you are missing out and need to go check it out right now! This is my third time participating and Susannah continues to amaze me with her matchmaking skills. Annie and I have so much in common, I was surprised by how easily we were able to open up and be real about personal matters. We both love the outdoors, our loving (and sometimes frustrating) boyfriends, are big sports fans, and live relatively near each other in Northern California. And I absolutely love her blog name, Miscellannieous, how cute and creative is that?!
I decided to share how awesome she is with you through a little Q&A with Annie.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Jeez this is a tough question for me. I love love love to travel and seeing different places, but I also like being home. Eventually, I’d like to settle down close to my parents eventually, but if I could live somewhere else temporarily, I’d choose North Carolina. I love the South and North Carolina specifically and it kinda felt like home to me. I have a post about it here.
Who is your biggest role model?
Definitely my parents (they’re my best friends). They’re such awesome people and I love spending time with them. They are nice and funny and such great roles models in their marriage. I really look up to them.
What is your favorite blog post you’ve written?
This one on my Personalized DIY Dreamcatcher was one of my favorites. I love how the project turned out and the post as well. I also really like this post on the time I won on a scratcher. I like reading funny posts and I thought this one was pretty good!
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I love to explore all of the little towns around us. I moved to Northern CA (from Central CA) about 7 months ago so I’m still new to this place. There’s some quirky little towns around here and I like to check them out when I have time. I also like to knit, watch Netflix (duh), eat, travel and hangout with my cats.
What are some of your goals (life, blogging, where do you see yourself in 5 years, etc.)?
I’d love to see my blog grow and make it into a little more than just a hobby eventually. My goal right now is graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree. I have 3 semesters left after this one and I’m focusing on getting that done. Hopefully in five years, I’ll have that done and will be working as a math teacher.
What is your favorite movie?
This is such a tough question for me, but I really like For Love of the Game and Little Big League. I love Kevin Costner and baseball movies. I really like romantic comedies (real original) and cannot stand scary movies.
