Well it’s been an interesting few days, I haven’t felt very well since we went hunting on Sunday. Maybe because of lack of sleep or maybe because it was 26°F when we were out there. I ended up sleeping a lot the last few days and not getting anything productive done on here. I love creating lists, so obviously I create monthly & weekly goals of stuff to get done. I absolutely love crossing things off my lists. I have the same or similar lists in my phone, in the stickies on my laptop, in my school planner, and on a whiteboard on the fridge. I’m weird.. I didn’t do that well with my November goals so I’m not going to recap them, just include the ones I didn’t accomplish into my goals for December.
Goals for December:
Blog Goals:
Get 500 Twitter followers: when I first started blogging and utilizing my social media my boyfriend joked about my gaining Twitter followers and how I was more popular than him. Then he joked about how I had to get 500 followers by the end of the year and somehow it turned into a serious goal.. or a challenge really.
Post daily on Instagram: I haven’t posted the last two days, but I haven’t been feeling well and slept a lot.
Finish my about me page: I will do this! It’s so important for the blog.
Blog Design: This wasn’t really in my budget for November, but I did find someone I think I want to do my blog design!! It’s probably not in my budget for December either though..
Teach Jeff to use my camera: I’m so excited he actually wants to learn about using my camera and wanting to help me with the blog. He started using it a little bit, but not enough.
Fashion Posts: If I can teach Jeff to use my camera, these are definitely happening!
Post this early in the month: Look I already completed one! Yay!!
Personal Goals:
Finish Madame Bovary Read The Martian, Into Thin Air, The Killing of Lincoln: I’m going to have a lot of time to read with school ending next week so I’m setting my reading goals pretty high!

Do shopping early: I always wait until the last minute to do my Christmas shopping so I end up stressed and frantic. I don’t know why I wait because I always have such great thoughtful gifts for people way before December even comes around.
Get our tree early: Which we can’t do unless….
Move old couch: When we got our new couch 3 months ago we were supposed to move our old couch to my moms. But she decided she didn’t want it so we’ve had 2 couches in our apartment which is ridiculous. And we can’t put a tree in here unless we move it!
Self Improvement Goals:
Be more appreciative: It’s hard to get caught up in life and forget to thank people. I know my boyfriend puts up with a lot, sometimes I’m in a mood, sometimes I’m needy, and sometimes I nerd out and bug him with blog stuff.
Be more positive/supportive/encouraging: I feel that all these tend to go hand-in-hand. I want to be a supportive, encouraging, and positive person in all aspects of my life to my friends, family, and my boyfriend.
Here’s to a more successful month in regards to my goals! What are some of your goals for December?
LOVE that you set monthly goals! Getting to 500 on twitter shouldn’t be too hard, good luck with it 🙂

Thank you! I’ve heard that setting goals is a habit of successful people so I thought I’d give it a try :p It hasn’t been too hard to gain followers so far, just hope I can keep it up.
I never set myself follower goals, I feel like I cant really influence if I reach them or not. But finish Christmas shopping early would definitely be on my list.

I absolutely agree but I really want to do it because my boyfriend pretty much challenged me haha. I’m just happy he’s so supportive of my blog and lets me talk about it all the time!
I’ve never set myself follower goals on Twitter and just let it happen organically, but I’d suggest Twitter chats in niches you’re interested in. Joining in on Twitter chats is a great way to connect with others, and that can lead to new followers (and finding interesting people to follow!).
I’m reading Into Thin Air right now, after watching Everest a couple of months ago. If you haven’t read it yet, add The Climb by Anatoli Boukreev to your list too. It offers a completely different perspective on the events of 1996!
Oh I will definitely add that to my list! I watched a couple of documentaries after seeing Everest in theaters which are on Netflix.
And I didn’t really want to set a follower goal, but I kind of just want to prove to my boyfriend I can do it haha! I have joined in to a few Twitter chats this week and it’s been great! I found lots of new friends through them. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
