I follow Shay Mitchell on Instagram and Snapchat and I saw her post pictures of doing a mud mask a while back. She has gorgeous skin so I immediately went online to google her skin care routine to find out what face mask she uses. Don’t even judge me, you know you’ve done it too. After my researching, I found out that the face mask she uses the GlamGlow SuperMud Clearing Treatment and obviously I had to try it.
Its super easy to use, wash your face then apply a thin layer of the GlamGlow SuperMud all over your face. You can use your fingers or a brush, I use my fingers. If you use a brush, wash it off when you’re done so the mask doesn’t cake onto it. As it dries, you can see dark spots (little dots) where the mask is drawing out impurities. The mask tightens on your face as it dries, it’s a little awkward to talk but it makes your face feel great afterwards. Leave the mask on for ten to twenty minutes, until it’s dry, then wash it off with water.
I noticed a difference after my first use! My pores looked clearer and smaller and my skin was so soft and smooth. It leaves your face feeling tighter and your skin smelling great! I don’t even know how to describe the smell, but it’s really good. Use it as an all over face mask or for spot treatment. I used it on one of those really deep, painful zits that won’t surface and it looked noticeably smaller when I washed off the mask!
It is one of the more expensive face masks, but it’s totally worth it. Don’t be fooled by the box, which says that GlamGlow Supermud is only good for up to seven uses. But I get way more out of it than that. Because you only need to apply a thin layer and you don’t use it every day. You could use it daily if you wanted to but I think it would dry out your skin. For the first month I did a GlamGlow SuperMud mask once a week and now I do it once every two or three weeks!
Buy the GlamGlow SuperMud mask here! There are several other GlamGlow masks that I plan on trying.
Please note that face masks remove oil and dirt clogged deep in your pores, bringing them to the surface of your skin. This makes it easier to remove and deal with. But this may cause you to break out after use, but that’s what is supposed to happen.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super cool I have never seen a mask that does that. Your skin looks hecka good afterwards too. HHHmmmMmMmM my birthday is coming up…..this is gonna go on my wishlist 😉 LOL!
Thank you 🙂 Definitely add it to your wishlist! I think it’s so cool to see it working and it works great!
I’m obsessed with the fact that you can see little dots forming. I’m a creep like that!
Hahaha I love it! It’s probably my favorite part of the mask.. That or walking out of the bathroom at night and scaring my boyfriend 🙂
